Apex doesn’t sell payments to everyone. We specialize in owner-operator verticals where the decision-maker answers their own phone, where credit cards make up the majority of revenue, and where a compliant surcharge program moves real margin back into the business.

§ 02Who we don’t serve

Narrow isn’t a limit. It’s a commitment.

We don’t pitch heavily regulated industries (insurance-billed medical, dental, or veterinary practices), long-sales-cycle B2B with multi-stakeholder approval chains, or verticals where surcharging is effectively prohibited by state law or by the dominant payment mechanic (government, utilities, parking).

If that’s you, we’ll tell you up front — and, where we can, point you to an operator who fits the need better than we do. Apex’s model depends on reaching the decision-maker, reading the statement, and going live in weeks. If the structure of your business makes any one of those three things impossible, the honest answer is that we’re the wrong fit.
